This is the reconstructed version of the Euphoria Project. Originally created during the summer of 2005, it was to be the first recording released by Justin Routzohn as one giant 20 minute song. "Most people don't have the patience to sit through a full 20 minute song. I cut it up into 14 pieces so it is easier to "digest" and so that the people who have favourites can scan to them quickly." Highly experimental in all ways, this little project that could, demonstrates some of Justin's first attempts at making music on his own. "It was all done on my computer the first time since I had a very simple Yamaha keyboard back then and couldn't record it. Originally what would become 'The Piano Who Loved Me' had lyrics and was going to be recorded at Sweetwater Studios in Fort Wayne Indiana. I have mixed feelings over not recording it at the time, but the song eventually took on a new form later. This is what you hear on 'Like a Falling Piano'." This E.P. was never released for whatever reason, but was by no means forgotten. Several songs were taken from it and used on 'Like a Falling Piano'. When the idea came to finally release the E.P., the original files were found to be poorly mixed and some were missing entirely. "I almost dropped the idea of releasing it again. But then I got the idea of remaking the entire thing, since I do have the technology to do so now. And that my friend, is what you are about to listen to now. Almost everything was redone for this CD. Only the parts with lack of better replacements or suitable effects stayed." The Euphoria Project never had an official name, nor did it have any official song titles. Thus, that is why there is no tracklisting. The artwork was also never decided upon, but in effort to try and give the E.P. some sort of "face" and "character", the planned original artwork was used. "I hope everyone enjoys this CD as much as I do. I think it sounds sooo much better than the original version, and I even put little audio "easter eggs" in there for you observant people! Enjoy the CD!
